This is a rare and historically significant Ethiopian Order of Solomons Seal Commander Medal, dating back to the late 19th century, circa 1874. It features the iconic six-pointed Star of Solomon, richly detailed with ornate filigree and a prominent central Ethiopian cross, symbolizing the ancient Christian heritage of the Ethiopian Empire.

At the top is the imperial crown of Ethiopia, representing royal authority during the reign of Emperor Yohannes IV or early Menelik II.
